October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. According to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, more than 360,000 people will be diagnosed with breast cancer in 2024. Early detection is the best way to increase survival.
Prowers Medical Center recently received MQSA (Mammography Quality Standards Act) certification, so patients can feel confident that mammograms performed at PMC are of the highest standards.
PMC team members participated in the “Beers and Brats for Boobies” 5K event.
