BIOGRAPHY:

In medical school, Dr. Yakel was the president of the Pi Delta Honor Society and made the Dean’s List. His professional memberships include:

He enjoys treating all types of foot problems including: heel pain, bunions, hammertoes, ingrown toenails, fungal toenails, warts, wound care, diabetic foot care, sports injuries, surgery, and children’s gait abnormalities.

Dr. Yakel has published in professional medical journals and lectured on podiatric sports medicine topics. He currently serves as the team podiatrist for the Colorado Rapids of Major League Soccer.
